Be Loving - Art with Heart was created by me (Bianca Love) in June 2026. It's a play on my name, and in general the way I try to be.

I'm a South African who immigrated to The Netherlands in 2022. As any expat would know, selling everything you have and saying goodbye to everything you've ever known is tough! You have to navigate new areas, cultures, foods, languages, and push yourself out of your comfort zone on a daily basis. And because we South Africans are resilient, we do it, and we do it well!

The past few years I kept thinking "I wish there was some way I could show off my South African roots while celebrating my newfound Dutchness", and I couldn't really find what I was looking for. So I decided to create it.

Professionally I'm a Functional Designer with a Bachelors in Communication Sciences and a love for UX Design. I really wanted to create something tangible (because if someone took my laptop away, what do I have to show for my work?), and Be Loving is the perfect outlet to do so.

Outside of items for South African expats, I also wanted to celebrate other parts of my identity - my very cute cat, Lina, and my husband's talents in photography. I have so many more ideas to come, and I'm so excited to have you along this journey with me!
